Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25, 1954, Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox won a scholarship award to study at London's Royal Academy of Music for 3 years. The budget of her was augmented with a student stipend as well as part-time employment. Lennox did not feel content with her abilities compared to the other students at Royal Academy and began looking for alternative paths. Lennox started her professional career in the year 1976, as a member of the band Dragons Playground. The group did not make it to the talent competition New Faces on I.T.V. From 1977 until 1980, she was the lead vocalist for The Tourists, a British pop group. She met Dave Stewart, with whom formed the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox started working for Diva in 1992, her debut solo album. The album received a lot of praise, both by critics as well as the general public. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album was released in October of 2014. The C.D. Lennox selected her favorites soul jazz blues tracks from the time of her childhood. Lepidoptera was recorded by Lennox on the 19th of May 2019. The collection comprising four tracks that were improvised. The E.P. is a companion piece of her artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled"Now, I'll let You Go... It is also her debut independently-released album. Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on December 25. She is a social activist, philanthropist, and singer. After a brief success as a member of the new wave band The Tourists in the late 1970s she and fellow musician Dave Stewart went on to become internationally renowned as the pop duo Eurythmics in the 1980s. Lennox's 1992 debut album Diva was a huge success, featuring a variety of songs, including Why and Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa the studio album released in 1995 includes cover versions of tracks such asNo MoreI I Love Yous andA Whiter Shade of Pale. Her solo catalog includes six studio albums and one compilation album.
